Edward Scott - Director Technology

Edward Scott is an award-winning engineer whose consumer product designs have consistently received international recognition, including the prestigious SIAL award in Paris in 2002, and the Bayer/National Business Review Innovators Award for Design & Engineering, in 2007.
Edward has 20 years' experience in industrial design and manufacture. He specialises particularly in advanced plastics materials and product design and is a member of the Society of Plastics Engineers USA and Europe. His extensive experience with CAD modelling and various design tools enables EverEdge IP to rapidly explore product and industrial design concepts.
Edward was previously the senior design engineer for a leading Australasian plastics manufacturer and was responsible for the design and development for a range of highly successful products. He has also been an applications engineer and national sales manager for a world-leading hot-runner injection-moulding systems manufacturer.
Edward holds Higher National Diplomas in Mechanical Engineering and Design Technology from one of southern Africa’s leading technical institutions and is a key speaker in the Diploma for Design Specifications, run by the Plastics Institute of New Zealand. Edward has also been a key note speaker at the following confrences:
