Jack Shan - Principal

Jack Shan is a key senior member of the advisory services team and brings a diversified range of skills in high-tech product design and, commercial law, as well as expertise in strategy development and deployment for transnational corporations. Jack has managed more than seventy projects, including most of the major commercialisation projects with EverEdge IP.

Before joining EverEdge IP Jack founded a number of startup ventures. He also worked in a variety of project management, marketing and logistics roles, successfully leading numerous projects to fruition. Jack worked closely with researchers at the University of Auckland to commercialize technologies in conjunction with the University's commercialisation arm, UniServices. Jack has also been a member of Fisher & Paykel Appliances' product development team, based in Auckland.

Jack holds degrees in Engineering (specialising in mechatronics), and Commerce (majoring in law & economics and international business) - both from the University of Auckland.
